Sustainable Packaging Adoption: A Greener Way to Deliver Innovation

At MC-monitoring, our commitment to innovation goes beyond our high-tech monitoring solutions — it also shapes how we deliver them. Over the past year, we’ve made significant progress in reducing our environmental impact by replacing most of our plastic packaging with more sustainable alternatives.

This transformation began over a year ago, when we made the conscious decision to rethink the way we protect and ship our products. With the close collaboration of our packaging suppliers, we explored and tested several alternatives to traditional materials. This joint effort has led us to smarter, more sustainable packaging solutions that are not only better for the planet but also tailored to the needs of our products and customers.

A complete shift in our packaging practices

We have fully eliminated traditional materials such as:

  • Polystyrene foam
  • Bubble wrap
  • Foam inserts
  • Plastic bags
  • ...

They have been replaced with more sustainable, tailored solutions like:

  • Protective kraft paper filling
  • Tailor-made honeycomb cardboard
  • Biodegradable pouches
  • ...

Before & After: A Sustainable Packaging Transformation

Our shift to sustainable packaging has brought a real impact on how we protect and ship our products. Let’s take a closer look at how this transformation applies to some of our key solutions:

The RTM sensor is now shipped in a custom-cut cardboard insert, replacing black foam. The new design not only uses recyclable materials, but also includes dedicated space for accessories, making packaging more efficient, compact, and organized.
