Online monitoring system at the Toktogul HPP
We are very proud to have supplied and installed our advanced online monitoring system to supervise the vibration behaviors of highly critical assets at the Toktogul hydro power plant in Kyrgyzstan.
The system will guarantee that the HPP’s hydro generators henceforth will operate reliably while granting the availability of these machines.
The VMS system is built upon our robust accelerometers, the PMS-300 aquisition system and CMS-500 condition monitoring software, enabling advanced diagnostic and reliable vibration measurement.
Thanks to the high flexibility of the PMS-300, available third-party preinstalled proximity probes have been recycled and easily integrated in the systems providing a higher degree of malfunction analysis at low cost.
Toktogul power plant is of strategic importance for the electricity supply of Kyrgyzstan as it provides about 40% of the country's energy. One of the prerequisites for the installation of the system was to carry out the job while the units were in production. Though this is not a common practice, our service engineers’ team has accepted the challenge and successfully put the system into operation.
